Doctor Johannes Bitsch and wife Agnes Bitsch’s Commemorative Legacy

The legacy is awarded yearly as about 15 scholarships of approx. DKK 7,000.00 each to medical students who have completed the first part of the official medical degree exam and whom the board of trustees have judged to be in need of financial assistance.
Deadline for filing an application is 1 May.
The legacy will be awarded in August/September.

Manufacturer Adolph Møller and wife Antoinette Møller’s Foundation

Legacy applicants: Needy people from all social classes, especially the old and frail and those who, through no fault of their own, have been reduced to poverty.

The legacy is however reserved for applicants residing in the municipality of Copenhagen, Frederiksberg and Gentofte or those born and raised in Thisted.
Deadline for filing an application is 30 October.
The legacy will be awarded in December.

The legacy is also awarded to young commerciel men who wish to study abroad, as well as to institutions, foundations and societies etc. Special consideration will be accorded institutions on Christianshavn. There are certain taxation rules concerning travelling scholarships.

This legacy has no application form, but the deadline for filing an application is 14 April.
The legacy will be awarded in June/July.

Manufacturer Aage Lichtinger’s Legacy

The legacy is awarded as student financial aid – preferably to applicants whose parents belong to, or have belonged to, the Civil Service – for the purpose of completing studies in engineering, medicine or law, or similar degrees associated with these professions.
Deadline for filing an application is 30 April.
The legacy will be awarded in June/July.

Glass dealer Johan Franz Ronge’s Foundation

The legacy is awarded to artists, especially painters and sculptors.
Deadline for filing an application is 6 February.
The legacy will be awarded in March/April.

The legacy is also awarded to musicians, young craftsmen, including engravers, for their development and education or to the ill and overworked to help them regain their working capacity, as well as the old, the ill and infirm (convalescents).

Lauritz Schmidt’s Foundation

Legacies are awarded to young Danish men and women seeking an agricultural education at the Royal and Veterinary Agricultural University, agricultural colleges or similar institutions. Legacies normally amount to DKK 5,000 – 10,000.
Deadline for filing an application is 1 May.
The legacy will be awarded in June.
